Correct, none other than the timeless Beach Boys!Well, ok, maybe not timeless, but it's been a great run. I've followed the train ride through the years from my toddler years (hehe) to the present. Brian Wilson's comeback, while criticized by some, has been another inspirational source for me. Being a mental health professional, Brian's return, both personally and professionally, has been a testament of the human will over adversity. Brian, along with the Wondermints, have brought back the magic of the wonderful music that Brian and the Beach Boys have created over the years.
I had the opportunity to see Brian at Saratoga Springs, NY last year and enjoyed every minute of it. Young and old(er) alike were at this concert. Brian was available to sign some autographs at intermission. Yep, he signed my t-shirt! Live at the Roxy is my newest favorite album, which included some of my old favorite tunes, as well. Brian's recent release of Pet Sounds Live brought it all back again.
Some of my favorites? Well, my picks of the Beach Boys has included some of their predictable hits, as well as some of the lesser known, obscure melodies that were created by this legendary band.
